329 Posts. #6 · Jun 7, 2019. I shoot a Super Sport and a Cordoba which is a 20 gage version of the SS. Both are great guns and get shot frequently at trap, skeet, 5 Stand and SC. I also shoot a number of other 12 and 20 gage guns. I see no increase in felt recoil in any of my Benelli's as compared to the other guns I had an itch to finally buy a semi-auto, of which I have never really felt comfortable owning. It took weeks of research to decide on which to buy; new or used, fancy or plain, gas or, cheap or pricy, dependable, attractive looking, good value, must have wood, etc. So I finally laid down $1100 bucks for a brand new Benelli Montefeltro Sporting.
